Change...

"When God closes a door, somewhere he opens a window"

We've all heard this and we all know it is true. However, sometimes it is hard to see past that closed door. I am in the midst of some changes in my life. Changes I wasn't expecting. I am trying to see the good in these changes, but sometimes it's just so hard. I guess all I can do right now is know that God has a plan for me. I need to put myself in God's hands and let him show me the path he has planned for me. My favorite bible verse has and will always be Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". Change is hard, but without change there would be no growth. I know that I must accept this challenge and grow further into the woman God intends me to be.

Thank goodness I have an amazing husband who is here to support me during this time, I do not know what I would do without him.

  2. Hang in there...whatever is burdening you, He will give your strength. Here is my favorite quote that may help you, "I don't know what my future holds, but I know who holds my future."

  5. I personally hate change myself. I say to heck with it. Embrace it. It means the road will only get better. If not, eat chocolate. I always feel better with a whole bag of Reeces peanut butter cups.

Dear friend, I trust the road you're on.. it's going to take you somewhere wonderful.. simply wonderful. Things will fall into place.. they will I say.

  7. Sorry about dealing with some difficult change but then again, that is how we shape ourselves and let ourselves accept new experiences. Sounds like you are doing a good job of letting that happen.

  8. Girl, I JUST posted about seeing the good in these crap sudden change scenarios this week... I'm sorry you're going through it, but it WILL BE BETTER. I was utterly crushed when I lost this one job, and now I have the freedom to travel around the world with the love of my life - who I NEVER would have met if it wasn't for losing my job! Chin up! You will come out of this a stronger better person, whatever it is.
