Friday's Letters

Happy Friday!!!

Dear Brian... Thank you for being the amazing man that you are. You have turned my life around and I thank you every day for this. It's such a great feeling to look at you and feel so much love in my heart. Dear Amy Schumer... your stand-up is HILARIOUS, however, your show "Inside Amy Schumer" has disappointed us a little. You better be awesome tonight! Dear Taylor Swift... I cannot wait to "dance like I'm 22" at your concert tomorrow. For the most part, I have loved you since "Tim McGraw". You lost me there for a little while, but your newest album "Red" is amazing! Dear Bachelor/Bachelorette... why must you wait until next January to be on again?!? I'm certainly going to miss Monday night wine/Bachelor date nights. Dear weekend... you're gonna be a busy one. Here's hoping I can find some time to relax.
Also, if you have the chance please got here and vote for Tanya. I've known this family most of my life. They are an amazing family and have endured many hardships and losses. Tanya definitely deserves this vacation. It only takes a minute of your time. Thanks!

Coffee Talk

It's a little late for coffee (who am I kidding, it's never too late for coffee), but I am linking up with Natalie and answering a few questions.

1. You're at Target or Wal-Mart, what's the first department you hit?

Target - Clothes, duh! They so conveniently put them right by the entrance to immediately suck you in! Then I usually hit accessories and then shoes.

Wal-Mart - We usually only go to Wal-Mart when we REALLY need something that we know is ridiculously cheaper there than anywhere else. The first department we usually hit is the laundry aisle.

2. What are three items you always have stocked in your home, fridge or pantry?

Toilet paper (we buy in bulk from Costco),  Scentsy bars and ice cream.

3. Do you prefer shopping alone or with others? Why?
If I'm shopping for clothes, shoes or accessories, I like shopping with others. It's fun getting feedback on your choices and it's just a fun way to have some girl time. If I'm shopping for groceries or household necessities, then I don't mind going alone. I just want to go in, get what I came for and get out.

4. What's the biggest splurge you've ever made?
Probably buying a car at age 18. My grandpa bought me my first car when I was 16, a 1988 Honda Prelude. I loved that car, but thought I needed something a little newer. So, I got a loan and bought myself a 1999 (this was 2000, yes I'm old) Chevy Cavalier. It was the base model, but I was so proud of myself for getting the loan and picking it out myself.

5. What's the best deal you've ever snagged?
Hmmm.... Usually the best deals I snag are at Kohl's when I have coupons. Speaking of, I just got a white shirt and a cardigan for $13. Total savings of $44!!! I would also say Jeremy snagged a pretty sweet deal on my Frye boots. He found them in my size only worn a couple of times on Ebay for $125 shipped (they are $228 + tax in store). They looked like they had never been worn when I got them.

What I Wore Wednesday #2

I am by no means a fashion blogger, by no means! But, doing these link-ups makes me a little more conscientious of what I'm wearing. And, I love seeing what other people are wearing and getting ideas for new outfits.

Alisa, from All Things Alisa is starting a new project featuring outfits under $50 and asked me if I wanted to participate. Being a lover of Ross and all things bargain, I of course gladly accepted!

*Gotta love the dog toy on the floor*
Dress: Ross $12.99 Shoes: Charlotte Russe $22 Bracelet: Gifted from Montana @ SaraMontana Says Watch: Gifted from my MIL Earrings: $12.50 from a kiosk in Vegas

I absolutely LOVE high-low dresses!!! And it was fun mixing stripes and polka dots. I get tons of compliments every time I wear these shoes. I wore them to jury duty and an older gentleman (at least 65) said, "Excuse me Miss... I just have to tell you that I love your kicks". Seriously, this man told me he loved my kicks and I got a huge kick out of it!

Don't forget to enter the giveaway for a custom canvas, $20 adie's lovelies store credit and Green and Purple pattern makeup/jewelry pouch here.
