WIWW and Pinteresting

Happy Hump Day Friends!!!

I know some people don't care about seeing what other people wore, but I see it as a way of finding new outfit inspiration. I love getting new ideas for outfits and seeing things paired together that I might not have thought of. I have said before that I am by far no fashion blogger, but I do occasionally enjoy taking "outfit" pictures and posting them. So there ya go, what I wore last Friday to dinner and a movie.

Oh, How Pinteresting "Sexy and I know it" Edition

About a week and a half ago, I got a new pair of jeans. So, I decided to go through my old jeans and get rid of the ones that I didn't wear anymore or no longer fit. Boy was this good motivation to start working out and watching what I eat more. To keep me motivated, I spent quite some time pinning motivational quotes, pictures and healthy recipes.

7 Questions & Pinteresting Things

What's better than one link up? That's right, two link ups! So, today I am linking up with Gentri for 7 Questions and Michelle for Oh, How Pinteresting!

1. The Olympics are awesome! What's your favorite summer Olympic event to watch?
Gymnastics!!! I was a competitive power tumbler growing up and have always loved gymnastics. I was so obsessed with gymnastics and the olympics in 1992, that I made a book with every event and who got gold, silver and bronze. I cut out every picture in every magazine I could find a glued them in my book.

How awesome were the fab five this year?!?
2. If you could compete in an Olympic event (either season), which would it be?
Gymnastics, obviously! The floor to be exact! I always loved competing.
3. Would you rather be tickled to death or poked (by finger) constantly for the rest of your life?
First, I have to say that I love that Gentri clarified that it was by finger. Ha! I'm not really ready to die, so I guess I would have to go with being poked (by finger) for the rest of my life. It would be really annoying at first, but then you would probably just get used to it.
4. Do you keep your nails long or short? Square or Round?
Short and roundish-square. I try to grow my nails out and as soon as they get long and pretty one breaks. It never fails!
5. Do you think you're funny?
I think I'm funny. Does that mean everyone else thinks I'm funny? Probably not! Last summer, I was going to the beach with some friends and every time we saw a cow I would let out the loud MAAAAAAAH!!!  One of my friends finally said, "Are you an angry cow?" and I said, "Yep, I have mad cow disease!" and then I proceeded to say, "I'm funny!" and then I laughed hysterically. If you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at?
6. When you have something you're looking forward to SO much, but it's still a ways off, what do you do to keep yourself distracted?
I just try not to think about it too much and to go about my daily life as usual. I usually have a countdown and that makes me more fun watching the number getting smaller and smaller. Right now, it's 27 days until I get to see my momma! I haven't seen her in almost a year, so I'm super excited! And she will be here almost a full month. Yippee!!!
7. You've just won an Olympic Gold Medal. What are you going to do next?
Take some time off and relax. Maybe go on a lavish vacation somewhere I've always wanted to go.

And now time for Oh, How Pinteresting!

7 Questions & Pinteresting

First up is my second edition of 7 Questions with Gentri Lee

Funny Photo: I just love these ladies

1. If you could be any princess - which would you be and why?
Hmmm.... It would be easy to say any Disney Princess, but I'm going to go with Kate Middleton. I know her title is Duchess of Wales. But... she married a prince, so that makes her a princess in my book. I absolutely love her style and the fact that she isn't afraid to be seen in the same outfit twice. I also love the way she carries herself. She seems like someone who knows how to be proper when she has to be, but would also know how to cut loose.

2. Do you have any odd habits?
I can't stand for my food to touch. My mom has always told me that it all goes down the same, but it does not taste the same going down. I don't know if it's a habit, but I have to shave my legs every day. I can't stand to rub my legs together and feel prickly hairs.

3. What's your "go to" outfit?
Right now it's sundresses and maxi dresses with sandals or wedges. In the fall/winter, it's a cute top, skinny jeans and boots.

4. Do you have any siblings? What are their genders, ages, order of age, names, etc?
I'm an only child. Yep, just me! I do have a brother-in-law and sister-in-law now who I've talked about a lot. Randy is 31 and Christina is 26. They are the best BIL and SIL I could ever ask for!

5. What's your favorite precious stone?
Aquamarine... I love my birthstone.

6. If you had a check in your hand for 1 million dollars, what would you do with it?
Pay off all of our debt, buy a house, take a trip to Missouri to see my family, go on a vacation with the hubs, go on a $1,000 shopping spree and then save the rest.

7. What do you love most about yourself physically?
My legs. I was blessed by my dad with fairly skinny legs. And years of cheerleading, tumbling and track kept them pretty slim and toned.

Oh, How Pinteresting

It's Wednesday and I'm lacking inspiration, so I decided I would link up with Michelle at The Vintage Apple and show some of my pinspiration this week.

I am in LOVE with dresses lately, so it seems like at least half of my pins have been dresses. I think I'm going to start hoarding dresses so that I have a different dress for every day of summer.

Thanks for checking out my pins! Now head on over and link up!

*Also, you may have noticed my blog face lift. I wish I could say that I did it all by myself, but unfortunately that's not the case. I promised I wouldn't say who made my blog so beautiful, but I still had to give her a little shout out and let her know how much she ROCKS!!! Thanks again!*

Happy Hump Day!
