It's a cold, dreary day here in Chicago. Right now, I'm really missing the warmer California weather. I was so excited to live in a place that snowed again, but I'm so over it! I'm ready for spring; warmer weather, sundresses, sandals and sunglasses.
The combination of the cold weather, the seemingly never ending job search, the major life changes and still getting used to living in a new city has been getting me down lately. I did have an interview last week and I have another interview this week that I'm really excited about, so hopefully I will get a job soon. Please keep your fingers crossed for me and send good vibes my way!
I'm really trying to stay positive and upbeat, but sometimes it's really hard. Lately, I've been looking up a lot of inspirational quotes and thought I would share some things that cheer me up.
Apparently Google Reader is going away, so if you want to continue following me please follow me on Bloglovin here.

P.S. 10 days until my birthday!!! Woohoo!!!!
Hang in there sister kitty!!! I am thinking of you and know bigger and brighter things are on the horizon!!! Keep the faith!! Love you!!
ReplyDeleteAs a fellow Chicagoan, I'm so with you on the weather. Spring will come, right?
ReplyDeleteOh Lindsay, my girl. You always seem to be the most upbeat person, if I ever need to be cheered up I know you're good for it. That is such a beautiful quality.
ReplyDeleteBut the struggle of your life right now, oh I want to take it away for you. This temporary is a lot, I can only imagine. Just know, I'm here. Always.
Listen Chicago just gained the most beautiful girl. Things will fall into place and when they do, you are going to be on fire. And Chicago means you are closer. A visit could take place.
ReplyDeleteGirlfriend things will get better soon! Keep your head up! Tomorrow is the first day of spring!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure a lot of it has to do with the weather, love. The cold/dreary weather can literally suck the life out of you..especially when you're used to Cali sunshine! Keep your head up, pretty girl and if you need a little sunshine...feel free to come visit me in GA!
ReplyDeleteJeremiah 29:11 LOVE YOU!
I can't imagine moving back to the Midwest from somewhere warm. The bipolar weather has really been driving me insane lately. 54 degrees yesterday 20 degrees today. Bah.
ReplyDeleteThe snow and the cold can't be good for your spirits. I totally understand that. But it will be warm soon (hopefully!) Have you heard anything about your job interview yet?
ReplyDeleteLove the updated button. About to swoop that up! (Actually probably this weekend when I work on blog stuff)
